About The Film

Aloysius: Immunized With A Gramophone Needle paints a personality portrait of an older queer man. Having experienced two heart attacks in the space of a couple of months, Aloysius decided to share himself with the camera. This mini documentary encompasses growing up, coming out, religious influences, issues of identity and fluidity, and death, amid flourishes of Aloysius’ inimitable style. Society still denies older people their sexuality; this film aims to shed some light on an otherwise taboo topic.
